SONIC PICO PARK Characters

Character lineup announced through November 2, 2026.

At a glance

The cast includes Sonic and friends alongside PICO CAT and Sonic Pico Cat. Espio and Charmy join as playable characters; Big, Omega and Vector are identified as large characters.

Sonic and friends

SONIC PICO PARK brings Sonic characters into PICO PARK’s cooperative puzzles. The announced lineup includes:

Characters Cast
Sonic and the early lineup Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Shadow
More Sonic friends Cream & Cheese, Silver, Blaze and Rouge
New additions Espio and Charmy
Large characters Big, Omega and Vector
PICO PARK characters PICO CAT and Sonic Pico Cat

The November 2 announcement identifies Espio and Charmy as playable characters and Vector as a large character. The earlier Rouge/Omega announcement makes the same distinction: Rouge is playable, while Omega is a large character.

These categories matter. This list gives the announced names and categories, not a final character-select menu. Cream & Cheese is listed together; Cheese’s separate sprite does not represent another player.

PICO CAT and Sonic Pico Cat

PICO CAT is the familiar PICO PARK character. Sonic Pico Cat is a PICO CAT dressed to resemble Sonic. Both are announced as usable characters, joining the Sonic cast in the same cooperative puzzle world.

Big and large-character stages

Big is introduced as a large character whose help is available in some stages. Official footage shows a Big-marked door, a change to Big, and Big rolling on the far side of a cracked wall.

This is a stage-specific role, rather than a promise that Big can be freely selected in every stage. Big, Omega and Vector should therefore be kept distinct from a simple list of regular selection slots.

Carrying teammates and stacking

In the official Cream & Cheese trailer, Cream is airborne with seven other player characters hanging below her. That scene illustrates cooperation; it does not establish a maximum carrying capacity or flight duration.

SGF gameplay also shows teammates hanging below Tails and characters stacking on each other’s heads. A PlayStation hands-on describes using stacks to get past obstacles and Tails losing altitude while carrying several teammates. These examples show why positioning the whole team matters as much as moving one character.
